I've been feeling an increasingly strong urge to tweak the blog, play around a little with the layout and colors, yanno, ring the changes a lil bit ... some of the formatting on old posts may be a little .... unusual ? ... as a result.
It's a lot brighter and the background patterning is a lot more subtle than your last one, which I think is a positive thing as it doesn't draw emphasis away from the text or pictures. The colour palette is still recognisably yours, so it doesn't detract from the look that you have built up over your time blogging. The background pattern also draws on the pale teal, duck egg and bronze from your avatar/header, so it all looks very cohesive and complimentary.
It's good! Light and spacious and yeah, good :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Miss.M :-) x

ReplyDeleteExcellent.
Thanks for being so thorough :-) The background pattern is exactly the same, but widening the text area makes it much less impactful, I think.
DeleteThe color scheme isn't shockingly different (but they are nice), and I like the wider text box.
ReplyDeleteThank you - the wider text box has a less claustrophobic feel, to me :-)
DeleteI agree, it just feels cleaner, and I like clean, spacious blogs that are attractive but easy on the eye :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Little Red :-)
DeleteIt's really pretty and peaceful!
ReplyDeleteI like it. It feels clean and fresh, which is just right for a Springtime alteration. Also, I like the color-coded comments/response thingy.
