Green Doesn't Grow the Patio-Oh
And it's a hat trick ! Here we are on WIP Wednesday 38 - and you can find loads of mainly yarny goodness on this theme over at Tami's Amis.
My post is not so much on the yarny but a yardy theme instead: we used the fabulous unseasonal hot sunny weather over the weekend to wake the garden up from it's winter sleep and spring mess. Like a grizzly bear, it was somewhat grumpy and unyielding, but we had our way with it in the end. All we have to do now is hope there are no late frosts ......
And this is the progress on the Waves of Leaves shawl: I finished the last repeat as per the pattern, but decided the shawl wasn't big enough - the pattern is written for 4ply/fingering. So I'm on row 12 of the next 24 row repeat ..... That odd black spot is Inky sticking his nose in to see what's going on.

I love the colour of your shawl and your garden looks great - the weather has been gorgeous here too!
ReplyDeleteYarny, yardy. It's only a one letter difference ;)
ReplyDeleteThat shawl looks great so far, well done!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to get into the garden. I know we're past any frosts here as it's been about 80-90 (or 26-32 C) degrees most days!
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks amazing and so does your shawl. I love the blue color. Cats always seem to have to know what's going on. But at least he's cute. XD
ReplyDeleteYour shawl looks wonderful and so does your yard. I haven't had the urge to deal with ours yet. A bit of warmer weather is probably what we need.
ReplyDeleteHi kitty! My cat is always getting in the middle of most of my photos. He's a lousy photographer's assistant.

The shawls looks great, as does your garden! We did the same thing a few weeks ago and now it's so great to look out at beautiful plants. Unfortunately, some didn't take, so we'll have to replant.
ReplyDeleteLove your shawl. Your patio garden looks wonderful.
